DAY 1: AREQUIPA: CITY TOUR

Transfer to hotel

2.30 pm – 6.00 pm The Mill Countryside and Sabandía.

We visit: Main Square, Historic center, Carmen Alto Mirador, Plaza and Yanahuara Sachaca District, of Tingo, Road Landscape, Founder’s Mansion, Mill Sabandia, platforms Paucarpata.

DAY 2: TOUR COLCA CANYON: (B)

After desyuno in Hotel, 7.45 am to 8.15 am Pick up from your hotel and departure behind Chachani, Cañahuas pampa and Aguada Blanca National Reserve. On the way we will see in the wild vicuña, Vizcachas or wild rabbit, Andean Ichu grass, small ponds, birds like the hawk serrano, Guallatas or Andean geese, ducks, some flamingos, among others. We stop at the Mirador Volcano (4800 meters), where you can appreciate the view of the Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca snowy, among others; and the Mirador del Colca Valley.

12.00 pm approx. Arrival to Chivay. Transfer to hotels, time for lunch. Afternoon visit to the thermal springs and baths in La Calera (does not include entrance to the hot springs)

DAY 3: COLCA – PUNO: (B)

After desyuno at the hotel 6:30 a.m. approx. Departure to the Mirador de LA CRUZ DEL CONDOR on the left bank of the Colca River. The Flight of the Condor, visit the typical villages of Yanque, Maca, hanging pre-Inca tombs, beautiful costumes of each locality, and the incredible amount of pre-Inca Terraces still cultivated with crops such as Andean Potato, Corn, Quinoa, Amaranth, elm, among others.

DAY 4: PUNO – UROS ISLANDS – AMANTANI ISLAND (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel 7:45 a.m. Pick up from hotel and transfer to the port of Puno to take a tourist motor boat and head towards the wonders floating islands of the Uros. Despite the weather today remain living in artificial islands, known as the Water Tribe, because they must construct its own Islands periodically, adding new layers of “Totora”. Their homes and boats are also made from this material. After the visit continue the journey by about two hours to the island of Amantani. This island is inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives still ruled by their ancient traditions, whose main business is the production of ceramics and textiles. The positive energy of this Island is so powerful it is known as the “Island of Love”. Arriving at the island we will taste a typical lunch, then headed to the ceremonial centers “Pachatata” and “Pachamama”, sacred temples in the Andean region. At night we will stay in family homes enjoying the hospitality of a typical Amantani home.

DAY 5: ISLAND OF AMANTANI – TAQUILE ISLAND – PUNO (B, L)

After breakfast we depart to the Island of Taquile, where we will appreciate how typical, rustic, picturesque landscape, where they even maintain its customs, traditions, religious rituals and folk experience. Also inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and unique social systems, in the town of Taquile can taste a typical fish-based silverside or fresh trout and quinoa soup lunch.

At 3:30 pm hours. return to the city of Puno and transfer to your Hotel.

DAY 6: PUNO – CUSCO: (B, L)

6:40 a.m.. Transfer from hotel to bus station

7:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm Bus will travel all day in Puno – Cusco and visit the museum of Pukara, La Raya, Raqchi temple, church and Huaro Andahuaylillas.

DAY 7: CUSCO (B)

9.00 pm Briefing the agency in Cusco

 1.30 pm – 1.40 pm Pick up from hotel

 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm City Tour in Cusco: Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambo Machay

DAY 8: SACRED VALLEY (B, L)

8.00 am – 8.20 am Pick up from your hotel

8:30 a.m. – 5.00 pm Tour the Sacred Valley: Pisac Market, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo

7.00 pm – 8.43 pm Train Expedition Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

8.45 pm Transfer station to hotel

DAY 9: MACHU PICCHU (B)

(You can climb from the output of the first bus at 5.00 am)

 7:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tour in Machu Picchu

 Optional: If you want to upload to Flee + Picchu must add USD 15 per person

 6.45 pm – 8.18 pm. Expedition Train Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo

 8.30 pm – 10.30 pm Transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station to Plaza Rejoicing in Cusco (1 block from the Plaza de Armas)

DAY 10: CUSCO (B)

Transfer from the hotel to the airport on time.
