Trekking: Arequipa – Colca canyon – Arequipa (3d/2n) / Service in group

DESCRIPTION:

FIRST DAY: AREQUIPA / CABANACONDE / SAN JUAN DE CHUCCHO

02:50h. - 03:15h. Pick up from your hotel depending on the location, to move to the Colca Valley, to Chivay where there will be a stop for breakfast and continue the journey to the viewpoint of the Cruz del Condor from this famous viewpoint you have one of the most impressive views of the Colca Canyon and from where you can see the impressive flight of the condors, then we will continue towards Cabanaconde from where we will begin our walk, descending to the canyon, which will take us approximately 3 ½ to 4 hours.

To get to the Colca river where we can rest, once at the bottom of the canyon we will cross the suspension bridge of San Juan de Chuccho, to arrive at the town of the same name, where we will have lunch and spend the night, in bungalow type houses, conditioned to attend to the tourists (basic accommodation).

DAY 2: SAN JUAN / SANGALLE (OASIS)

We will have breakfast to start our tour again, ascend 300 meters approximately and then arrive at the villages, first of Cosñirhua and then Malata; where the way of life of the people will be appreciated. Again we will descend towards sangalle (oasis), where thanks to a spring of warm water we can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pools located in this beautiful place (the waters have a temperature of around 18ºC) we will have lunch, and we will pass the second night in bungalow type cabins, equipped to cater to tourists (basic accommodation).

DAY 3: OASIS / CABANACONDE / CHIVAY / AREQUIPA

05:00h. will start the ascent, it is a zigzag path and quite pending, but after 3 hours approximately you will have breakfast at a local restaurant and then take the mobility and go to the viewpoint of Antahuilque where we can see the valley of the Colca, We will also visit the town of Maca and the viewpoint of Choquetico.

Return to Chivay, having the opportunity to visit the calera and enjoy the relaxing thermal waters. Lunch and return to Arequipa or Puno.

ITINERARY:

FIRST DAY:

02:50h. - 03:15h. Pick up from your Hotel in the Center.
06:30h. Arrival to the town of Chivay and breakfast.
07:15h. Departure to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint.
09:00h. Arrival at the Cruz del Condor, to appreciate the flight of the condors.
10:15h. Beginning of the Trekking in descent to the canyon (3h 1/2 aprox.).
13:45h. Arrival to San Juan de Chuccho and lunch.
15:00h. Accommodation in basic adobe bungalows and free time.
18:00h. Dinner and overnight.

SECOND DAY:

07:30h. Breakfast in San Juan De Chuccho.
08:30h. Departure to the Oasis of Sangalle, on the way we will visit the villages of Cosñirhua, Malata.
12:40h. Arrival at Oasis and installation in the bungalows.
13:20h. Lunch in Oasis and free time to enjoy the pool and own activities.
19:00h. Dinner and overnight.

THIRD DAY:

05:00h. Ascend to Cabanaconde in a zigzagging way approx. 3 and a half hours.
08:20h. Arrival at Cabanaconde and breakfast.
10:00h Departure to Chivay, with guided stops.
11:50h. Arrival to Chivay and we go to the thermal waters of Calera and almuezo.
13:20h. Return to Arequipa or Puno with guided tourist stops.
17:30h. Arrival to Arequipa and transfer to Centro Hotels.
