Trekking: Arequipa – Colca canyon – Puno (2d/1n) / Service in group

DESCRIPTION:

FIRST DAY:

02:45h. - 03:15h. Pick up from your Hotel, then go to the town of Chivay where we will have our breakfast and then continue to the Cruz del Condor, in this place we will enjoy the fabulous flight of the Condors, for a time of one hour.

Then we will continue the trip to the town of Cabanaconde at 10:00h. approximatly, we begin our tour on 3280 m.a.s.l. After three and a half hours of walking we will arrive at San Juan de Chuccho 2,300 m.s.n.m, descending 1000 meters approx. We will visit the surroundings of the place.

After lunch we will continue the walk for 1 hour and a half, until we reach Cosñirhua (2,660msnm.), here we will rest briefly, to continue the walk, until we reach the Sangalle Oasis located (1,160 masl) place where we will enjoy our free time and we will bathe in a cool pool of 20 ºC. After a restful rest we will have dinner and spend the night in bungalows.

SECOND DAY:

We get up at 05:00h. in the morning, previously coordinated with the guide, we will start the hike up to the town of Cabanaconde 3 hours approx., Breakfast in Cabanaconde.

Then we go to the district of Chivay, the most important town along the Colca Valley and from there we will go to the thermal baths of La Calera with 38ºC where we will enjoy its relaxing hot springs.

In an estimated time we will return to Chivay. We have lunch at the time previously coordinated with the group and after a few minutes of rest we leave for Puno, on the way we will have the possibility to visit the volcano viewpoint, the passage through the crater of the volcano, bird watching and lagoons. Later we will arrive to the city of Puno.

ITINERARY:

FIRST DAY:

02:45h. 03:15h. Pick up from your hotel (downtown area)
06: 45h. Arrival to Chivay and breakfast.
07: 20h. Departure to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor.
08:00 a.m. Visit to the Cruz del Condor.
10:00 a.m. We start with our walk.
13: 20h. Arrival to San Juan De Chuccho.
1:30 p.m. Lunch.
14:30h. We left for Cosñirhua.
16:00h. Arrival to Cosñirhua.
17:30h. Arrival at Oasis de Sagalle and accommodation to enjoy its swimming pools and nature
19:00h. Dinner and overnight in adobe bungalows.

SECOND DAY:

05:00h. Walk to Cabanaconde.
08:30h. Arrival at Cabanaconde and breakfast.
10:00h. Return to Chivay with guided stops on the way.
11:30h. Arrival at LOS CALERAS THERMAL BATHS and lunch.
13:30h. Departure from Chivay to Puno. On the way we will visit different places.
17:30h. Arrival Puno and transfer to downtown hotel.
