SUMMARY:

TREKKING: AREQUIPA – COLCA CANYON – PUNO (2D/1N) GROUP SERVICE

Great Trip: Pick up from your Hotel, then go to the town of Chivay where we will have our breakfast and then continue to the Cruz del Condor, in this place we will enjoy the fabulous flight of the Condors, for a time of one hour.

FIRST DAY:

From 02:45h. to 03:15h., we pick up from your hotel and head to the town of Chivay, where we will have breakfast. Then, we continue towards the Cruz del Cóndor, where we will enjoy the fabulous flight of the condors for about an hour.

Later, we continue the journey to the town of Cabanaconde around 10:00h. we start our tour at around 3280 meters above sea level, after three and a half hours of walking, we arrive at San Juan de Chuccho at 2300 meters above sea level, descending approximately 1000 meters, we visit the surroundings of the place.

After lunch, we continue the walk for 1 hour and a half until we reach Cosñirhua (2660 m.a.s.l). Here, we rest briefly to continue the walk until we reach the Oasis de Sangalle located at 1160 meters above sea level, where we will enjoy our free time and bathe in a cool pool at 20 ºC. After a restful break, we have dinner and spend the night in bungalows.

SECOND DAY:

We wake up at 05:00h., previously coordinated with the guide. We start the uphill walk to the town of Cabanaconde, which takes approximately 3 hours. We have breakfast in Cabanaconde.

Then we head to the district of Chivay, the most important town along the Colca Valley, and from there we go to the La Calera hot springs with 38ºC, where we will enjoy their relaxing thermal waters.

After an estimated time, we return to Chivay. We have lunch at the time previously coordinated with the group and, after a few minutes of rest, we leave for Puno. On the way, we have the possibility to visit the volcano viewpoint, pass through the volcano crater, observe birds and lagoons. Later, we arrive in the city of Puno.

• 05:00h. Walk towards Cabanaconde.
• 08:30h. Arrival in Cabanaconde and breakfast.
• 10:00h. Return to Chivay with guided stops along the way.
• 11:30h. Arrival at LOS BAÑOS TERMALES DE LAS CALERAS and lunch.
• 13:30h. Departure from Chivay to Puno. On the way, we will visit different places.
• 17:30h. Arrival in Puno and transfer to the downtown hotel.
