ITINERARY:
07:00h. Departure from your hotel in Puno. Tiahuanaco, also called Qalasaya, is located at an altitude of 3,845 meters above sea level. It is the most important archaeological site in Bolivia due to its extent and magnificence. This place encompasses 3 periods in the evolution of its culture: the Village, Urban, and Expansive periods.
After picking you up from your hotel, we will border Lake Titicaca, observing the marvelous landscape. During the journey, we will visit INCA UYO, ARAMU MURU, mystical and sacred places of the Incas.
Upon reaching the DESAGUADERO border, we must present our respective documentation; once in Bolivia, we will have our Bolivian guide who will take us to our destination TIAHUANACO, where we will have lunch and visit: PUMA PUNKU, PUERTA DEL SOL, PYRAMID OF AKAPANA, STONE MUSEUM, MONOLITH BENEATH, and others.
Private transfer to LA PAZ, arrival at 19:15h.

Great experience overall
It is a great experience recommended to everyone who likes hiking. The guide also was amazing. However the organization did not work as planned:
– the pick up forgot about us and we were then re-directed to a different tour until meeting the right one at the starting trekking point. In the second day the re-route to Puno worked perfectly instead.
– the payment is not transparent, the 70% to be paid after the tour is only in Soles Cash and with a not realistic change.
